Backyard Graduation Cake

Learn To Personalize Your Cake Decorating Skills

This Cake was the very first layer cake I decorated. I decorated it with the school colors. It was for my niece in-law.

The shapes were cut out of fruit roll-ups.

The stars were wood cut out, fixed to sucker sticks and painted with food color and colored sugar.

The ribbon was a bit much, and I as always had very little to work with but my own creativity.

All in all it was very good for what I knew and had at the time.

I would actually like to one day copy these older cakes with what I have learned since those day! It would surely be interesting and fun.
